You can experience frequent urination in your gestation phase as it is the earliest sign of pregnancy. You may observe change in urine with color variations, as it can turn light as pink and dark as brown indicating the health and other problems during pregnancy. In some cases the urine turns cloudy because of several reasons which include abnormalities in early pregnancy. Sometimes it is because of the lack of sufficient amount of water in body. It is very important to keep your body hydrated if you’re expecting because placenta and the baby requires excess amount of water.
What causes it to appear?
Cloudy urine early pregnancy is caused due to hormonal changes during first few weeks of pregnancy. You don’t need to worry about it as it might cause no harm to your fetus and you. Just like gestation hormones doesn’t affect you it also don’t affect you in first phase.
A Pregnant body demands more water than usual consumption of water. It is a common thing which comes under our notice in everyday routine that when we consume a very less amount of water our urine color turns darker. Keeping your body hydrated is also necessary to ignore the appearance of cloudy urine. If you observe both things at a same time, then it’s a reminder for you to drink a lot of water.
Any kind of urinary infection can be caused by cloudy urine. These infections are commonly observed in every eight out of ten women. It happens when some bacteria attack urinary tract causing an infection to surrounding organs and organelles such as kidney, urethra and uterus. With all other common signs of pregnancy your pee may contain blood with cloudy thick appearance. It is very dangerous for both baby and mother because it can cause a serious damage to kidney. Also it increases the risks of baby’s birth with low weight and premature delivery.
Excessive amount of proteins:
One of the root cause of it is because of high levels of protein in urine. This is more likely to happen when women are at the later stage of their gestation period from fifth to nine month. Most of the times protein levels in a greater amount in your urine can cause preeclampsia. It is a very alarming situation for both mother and baby because of its dangerous outcomes like high blood pressure, infecting kidney and even causing a serious threat to life.
Excessive intake of vitamins:
Vitamins are always important elements required by body as its deficiency and can cause a lot of health issues. During pregnancy it is good to take more vitamins as it is very beneficial for the developing life inside you. Generally, you experience pale yellow flow of urine due to consumption of vitamins but it is even possible that more consumption of vitamin B and C can make your pee appear cloudy.
It is a wise decision to take all the preventive measures while facing these cases in your pregnancy as you are responsible for carrying a life inside you.
