If you discard the economy and Obama, it is very hard to find anything significant in the news, these two issues having driven out virtually every other topic of significance.

In time, the "normal" agenda will re-assert itself, if there is such a thing as normal, and if we have not gone so far down the slippery slope that the abnormal becomes the normal. That itself raises an interesting question – when does the abnormal cease to become so, and become the norm? I guess we might soon find that out.

Good luck on the end-sprint of the book.

Any commercial company surely will see that this gravy-train of inconvenient power in inconvenient places funded by incompetent government is in the process of seriously derailing.
I suppose we are dealing with the European model of companies that own politicians and bureaucrats and are beyond any form of accountability or accountancy.
Anyone care to explain why Airbus/EADS aren't seriously bust?

Exactly.....but as of now, unless there are Government garantees available, I seriously doubt anyone will step up to the plate. It will be interesting to see if anyone does.

Good to hear.

Now just keep that power quill* smokin' right up to the line!
