An answer to a routine parliamentary question from Lord Lee of Trafford on 16 October of this year was hardly calculated to excite any great interest. When I read Liam Fox's odd comments on this good news earlier today,I immediately wondered what you might think of it,thanks for addressing my thoughts on it .....really, I am spending way too much time on this blog site

I agree that it is appalling that such essential vehicles were not ordered years ago. The government delay has been inexcusable. However, I really wanted to ask a question about the announcement on the MOD website concerning the ordering of the Talisman route clearance system. It uses the phrase “Among the Talisman vehicles will be the Buffalo …and the Engineer Excavator.” Others, therefore, will presumably be purchased. The Pearson route clearance machine has been mentioned in this context. Is there any news on this or other vehicles?

We've put a PQ in asking for more details. As soon as we get any more, I'll post what we have learned. I'm hoping there'll be some Husky sets in there. The package does, however, include some more Mastiffs, presumably rigged as command vehicles and/or EOD transports.
