You prove the point, Helen. Whether the criticism is justified or not any criticism of women by men in our society brings an immediate emotional confrontation and little to no rational discussion. Sadly the result of this is that a lot a behaviour that would be childish from a man has to be accepted as 'adult' from a woman.

Quite right Sandy. That comment by Ivan was stupid and emotional. Just could not take the truth which the posting so clearly said that Lady Manningham-Buller knew whereof she spoke and Tony McNulty did not. I am so glad you agree with my point on that.
