We seem permanently to be in the silly season these days, and the MSM is crammed with inconsequential events and trivia. Bank holiday period it might be but I do not ever remember things being this bad. Be proud to be dirty says the Failygraph retailing the latest propaganda from the water companies, telling their frustrated customers to see filth on their cars as a "badge of honour".

This is Louise Gray, so it makes a change for her to be retailing this sort of garbage instead of indulging her global warming obsession. Interestingly, the photo is of a foreign car. Perhaps, subliminally, we are being told that foreigners are filthy and we should be copying them.

Despite the hosepipe ban I assume that police will still insist that number plates, lights and windows are kept clean if they need a reason to stop the driver of a car to hassle them (there are 534). It will be interesting to see how far the defence of "Louise Grey told me" will be pursued by Tallywag readers with their blood up.
I suggest Southerners cruise around the 'hood looking for the bluds taking to the streets and attempt to place their cars 'tween them and Mrs May's new water cannons.

This is of course still indulging her global warming obsession . . .

Yeah! Apart from the World falling apart and encroachments on personal freedoms being imposed by the hour, there is really nothing newsworthy to report. We can all safely go back to sleep in the certain knowledge that our betters will continue to provide bread & circuses & sleeping pills...or jail should we have the temerity to wake up.

The best 'headline' on that Louise Grey fantasy page was this one
"Scotland: 'unusual' heavy snowfall blankets Aberdeenshire"

What is 'unusual' heavy snowfall?

Was it pink?
Did it fall in cubes?
Did it only fall on odd numbered houses?

We need to be told.

In locations like Crete, a gallon of drinking water is more expensive than a gallon of milk.

No sane person in Crete will wash his car using drinking water.

But you can perfectly clean a car with high pressured steam.
It takes less than half a gallon of water to clean a very dirty car.

As for the EU holiday's, they won't be long.

Spain is heating up:

Ultimate Doomsday Presentation Spain

Spain poses a problem that is a few magnitudes bigger than Greece and the EU neither has the political backing nor the money for a credible bail out.

Toast is all I can think of.

"Cameron gets tough", hahaha.
The man is a complete arsehole. Who is pulling his strings? Someone with a sense of humour, it seems. Or is it the king of saudi arabia and he's preparing us for their islamic state? Whatever, if our people don't eventually eviscerate the beast, we all will be consumed by it.

This is not a wild goose chase against the artists in the name of the public moral.

This is a frontal attack on their highly profitable side jobs.

Think playing ambassador for the UN or WWF.

These jobs always have been the domain of the elite's and they want their jobs back.

That makes a nice juxtaposition with this:
Quote:
Unpublished Government research suggests the plastic carrier may not be an eco villain after all – but, whisper it, an unsung hero. Hated by environmentalists and shunned by shoppers, the disposable plastic bag is piling up in a shame-filled corner of retail history. But a draft report by the Environment Agency, obtained by the Independent on Sunday, has found that ordinary high density polythene (HDPE) bags used by shops are actually greener than supposedly low impact choices.

My first reaction was to laugh (but only briefly)

Then I remembered we have an act of parliament that says differently

So depressing . . .

Enough! Dr North, you repeatedly describe Cameron as 'the man masquerading as our prime minister'. I object to that description, and ask you to stop using it. He is actually PM, not masquerading as such. But 'man'? Come on. Try one of these alternatives:
Commodity (Cruddas-gate)
Slimeball (Lisbon referendum)
Prestidigitator (Disappearing veto)

'Man'?! Surely shome mishtake.

Other suggestions, please.
