At the time, in January last year, we did it here, here, here, here, here and here, pointing out that the Queensland floods were largely a man-made disaster. We were joined by Booker on 15 January, the single MSM journalist who pursued this issue.

Needless to say, the Queensland state Premier Anna Bligh was talking of "exceptional events", and the BBC happily chirped about a "freak of nature" – an attempt to reinforce the subliminal message that nothing could have been done, while the rest if the British MSM sat on its hands and said nothing of the involvement of the dam management and the dire effect of the green agenda.

The SEQ Water website states that the Full Supply Volume for Wivenhoe is now 75%, down from the previously mandated 100%. A bit more breathing space if another deluge occurs.

It's flooding again big time, but hopefully the idiot Greens are not running things, this time.

Well our lapdog media on this side of the Pond are doing the same regarding flooding in the Midwest last spring. The Army Corps of Engineers manages several flood control dams for the Red River valley. In direct contrast to OTHER water management bodies who recognized that last winter's record snowfall would mean massive runoff of melt water and drew down their reservoirs accordingly, the Corps kept their reservoirs near capacity until the melt started. They then had to dump that water unimpeded to the rivers downstream, resulting in massive damage to cities along the river, as well as destruction of tens of thousands of acres of farmland. Checked your food prices lately? That is the result of last fall's harvest, which came in drastically short of normal.

There is speculation that the Corps did what it did at the behest of the Obama Administration, with the intent of creating food shortages.

Never under-estimate stupidity ... especially where public administration is involved.

You were joined in the 'lets remember why the dam was built' chorus by many other bloggers including myself, but, once again, let us all remind ourselves how much notice is taken of those amongst us who have been proven, time and time again, to have been right all along!

From the terrible silence which fell all around Enoch Powell, after his brave but fruitless attempt to spell out that which indeed has come to pass; through the avalanche of acid which has been poured over the heads of any who dared speak up for those causes deemed by our masters to be 'extremist' e.g. right wing thought of any nature; to the glad acceptance by the political classes of the whole 'Global Warming' bullshit, we have seen the onward march of the 'Progressives', as they have taken over their world!

As to whether we have seen this before, I would only give one name, and we should all remember what he was talking about: Dietrich Bonnhoeffer!
