Now having had time to scan, albeit briefly, the "manifesto" offered by Anders Breivik (under his Anglicised name of Andrew Berwick), what leaps from the pages is his grand proclamation of, "What you need to know, our falsified history and other forms of cultural Marxist/multiculturalist propaganda".

What Brievik has concluded, like many of us, is that the history fed to us as the record of fact is largely false, so distorted as not to represent in any way a true or reasonable account of our past. And thus aware, he has sought to rewrite history in his own fashion, telling us what he believes to be the truth.

Then, by way of a publicity stunt to launch his book, he detonates a large bomb and then shoots over ninety people on a remote Norwegian island.

Richard, excellent post. Sadly the grip on power the socialists have through the EU dictatorship allows blood spilt in their name to be OK. That is hard to counter as it sends normally sane people crazy, as with Breivik.

His book is just a series of copied articles from the internet and huge chunk of the unabomber's manifesto copied word for word, with references to "leftism" replaced with "multiculturalism".

Which means what? I have to admit I'm more than a little suspicious about this man.

Very good post. The unabomber manifesto includes much sensible analysis, but it does not follow that bombing people is the right thing to do. I remember liking much of Tony Benn's analysis and none of his prescription.

Well it had to happen didn't it?

The alleged ‘lone nut’ who managed to kill 87(?) people and wound over 60 in an incredible feat of shooting even for a ‘lone nut’ apparently declared that his main motivation was to halt a muslim colonisation of his country, stating further that “Oslo has become a multi-cultural shit-hole”. (I worked there 2007 – 2009 and I can confirm this.) So he alone attacks a gathering of young Norwegians and proceeds to slaughter as many as he can. If he had all the resources (financial and intellectual) that he appears to have had, surely the logical course would have been to kill Stoltenberg, who is the organiser of the mass importation of rapists into Oslo. After all, what British patriot who is thoroughly disgusted with the trashing of this country would refuse the opportunity of a shot at Blair?

These shootings were intended to cause as much revulsion against the (apparent) nationalist leanings of the perp and the reaction will be to whip up fury against the idea of Norwegian nationalism. If it is shown that Breivik did as claimed then he deserves the death penalty. However, not all commentators round the world were as repelled at the actions as we are:

- Devastatingly enough, in Israel, Behring Breivik found a few enthusiastic followers who praised his action against the Norwegian youth. In the Hebrew article that reported about the AUF camp being pro Palestinian and supportive of the Israel Boycott Campaign, I found the following comments amongst other supporters for the massacre:

In Norway. all rapes are being committed by ‘immigrants’ – mainly muslims. BBC is saying that death toll has been revised from 86 to 68. How can anybody make that kind of mistake? Looks like the left/liberal media have been exaggerating it for effect to me.
