Has DfID finished their due diligence before releasing that money?

I've had enough of this. I demand my right of equal access to the atmosphere. Who will join me in mass protests (non-violent, of course -- hide the fire extinguishers) in Westminster, Brussels and Strasbourg? Time for us, the atmosphere-deprived, silent majority, to stand up, be counted, and make our feelings known. Give us more atmosphere.

What a load of tosh, so this 'think' tank wants developed countries to force their citizens to live in a zero carbon emission state - they don't make it clear if we are going to be allowed to burn wood / peat to stay warm. We should count ourselves lucky they haven't figured out how to make us live in a negative emission state, although maybe if we transferred the contents of our bank accounts (after mortgaging any assets we own) that could assuage our guilt enough to permit us to continue in a state where we continue to exhale nasty CO2?

How on Earth does emissions = access? We all have equal access to the atmosphere and to pretend otherwise is potty. Nomadic african tribes have no lesser access to the atmosphere than I do. Al Gore has no greater access to it than me. That is such a bizarre way for them to frame the argument. There is no scientific basis for that claim. The inequality at the heart of it all is wealth (which we have now had admitted by some senior IPCC people) but they refrain from painting it honestly because the best solution to financial inequality is trade.

Warmists love statistics....well what are the odds that two years running, on different dates, just as their annual binge gets under way, we should be suffering freezing temperatures and loads of global warming, at exactly the same time....
