A real 'tears to the eye' moment!. Lovely.
(Quite fortunate not to have been interupted by the Thought Police for offending the human rights of certain other religions....)

I really enjoyed that. Thank you.

When will the first complaint come in that it offended Islam?

Yes brilliant, and the more so for its apparent spontaneity. Does it not anticipate in a tiny measure the final celebration of as yet untold numbers of believers throughout the ages (Christians)?

"After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude which no man can number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb..... and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.......". Handel understood this!

Radical atheists will complain first. (Do not forget about the radical atheist problem this country has).

Great video. Legitimate alternative to doorstep carolling.

Not this one! Made even more uplifting by being in a public place amongst people who clearly enjoyed every second. I did, and what an example of community togetherness. I don't know how many were actual choir, but I'll bet some were not. Ordinary (?) Brits, with a little help from Canadians, and what a result. Expect the unexpected from us as a Nation!

Flash opera is spreading.
Is it this something the authorities should fear?

Remember Viva VERDI!

Indeed. I have to say that I too felt the tears welling up at the end. Handel is reputed to have said that whilst composing the Hallelujah Chorus that "I did see the Great God before me" I can quite believe it.

Wonderful stuff Richard - Thank You.

I don't know what you mean.

Are you suggesting they 'laid an egg'? Or perhaps this wasn't, say, a "Higher Expression of Nationalism" which you may have preferred?

Please explain.

But we get their radical atheist music nearly all the time, and the rest of us don't complain.

But for those who think atheists don't have songs, try this:
