Dave Spart redux.

I saw a story about this on GOT's blog, complete with video, and he seemed to be claiming the Met were pushing the demonstrators into trouble. To be honest I could not make head nor tail of what was being shouted about during the fairly long vid so I will withold my judgement until tomorrow. (Or maybe the next day, depending on when I get sick of supping whisky. And if I happen to get my second wind like I used to in yuonger days and get back on't gin again, well you won't see me again 'til maybe Mon/Tuesday. [Stop cheering at the back ])

Burning seized police riot shields? Why weren't the bloody fools burning the police?

Were the riot shields in the van? Because a police officer surrendering his shield seems similar to a soldier surrendering his weapon.

If the shields were in the van, then tactics would surely require placing the van in a secure rear. The competence seems on a par with a police force that takes 3 hours to provide a responce to a riot in Milbank.
