The Russians, it seems are to invest heavily in inflatable tanks (above) and other "blow-up" hardware copies, all to deceive her enemies as to how many toys the military actually has. Even missile launchers can be purchased and, not to be outdone, the Septics have whole squadrons of dummy F-18s.

Robotic dummies in the monkey pen, controlled by an MS Windows computer
run from Brussels, would be much less compliant than most of the current lot?

It would at least treat us to frequent breaks from their activities.

The Nazis invented the worst thing ever: the assembly-line death factory. But they also invented something else, perhaps the only legacy of theirs that endures to this very day. During World War II, Hitler's war machine created the world's first sex doll: Borghild.
The project was considered "Geheime Reichssache", which meant "more secret than top secret.
Borghild was meant to reflect the beauty-ideal of the Nazis: white skin, fair hair and blue eyes.
The doll has only one purpose and she should never become a substitute for the honourable mother at home. ... When the soldier makes love to Borghild, it has nothing to do with love.
Borghild’s presentation in Berlin was a great success. While Himmler examined her artificial orifices...
What remained of the project was destroyed when Allied war planes destroyed Dresden in 1945. Which proves that the Dresden bombing was a true atrocity...

What were they thinking? :)

Serious connoiseurs prefer the Al Qaeda sex dolls. They blow themselves up.

At the very least we could get the Inflatable Crowd Company to pad out Parliament when debates are barely attended.

It looks as if the Navy will need some dummy ships & planes too, though that might tempt whosoever are our near-future enemies to train sharks & crocs in dummy ship-sinking tactics in response! Our new over-sized & over-costly carriers initially may have no aircraft of their own, & the amphibious vessels - giving us the ability to perform a sea-borne forced entry - may go too. Yet other non-essential expenditures by other departments presumably will remain. If this is so, the Lib/Cons will prove to be worse than Labour. Or is this all false flag propaganda?

Anyway, see here:

EXCELLENT! The private sector usually has the answer. Can it make up the shortfall in the Army as well?

Yes. With a little help from Amazing Christopher (Youtube link) we could reduce manpower by 80% and still keep up appearances.
