Either the EU commission has gone barking mad or somebody in Brussels has a sense of humour.

And that the Germans do have a sense of humour.

Did you spot this one?

Quote:
Tittelconsulting, a marketing agency, said in a statement on Monday that the owners will use the trademark to manufacture a variety of products including clothing and beer. "It includes the marketing of a beer among other things," Tittelconsulting said in a statement.

I drink lots of beer but dont want to waste its by product as it passes through my system, so I bottle it and send it to bureacrats.

If I were the marketing director, I'd insist it came in a Kundt tube.

"Can I fill up your Kundt, Lil?"

"Fucking Hell, Bill. Thanks."

The expression that comes to mind is, "the world is going to hell in a handbasket"

We have been fed on the myth, since yonks, that Germans don't have a sense of humour...because our sense thereof is unique. Nothing could be further from the truth.
There are many, some superb, stand-up comedians in Germany...and the Harald Schmidt Show is on a par with John Stewart's Daily Show.
Not for nothing do they refer to themselves with the self-created 'Bushism' of Misunderestimated Germans.
