When people overstate happenings that aren't necessarily climate change-related, or set up as almost certainties things that are difficult to establish scientifically, it distracts from the science we do understand. The danger is they can be accused of scaremongering. Also, we can all become described as kind of left-wing greens.

Of course we know the propaganda is going to worsen don't we? The sceptics have to be beaten into submission. It reminds me of a primary school teacher who, when explaining statistics to us said, "Think of a number ...".

I really must get a copy of Booker's book about the climate. It must be good. It says on amazon 'Usually dispatched within 6 to 11 days.' Blimey. Either they must have run out or alternatively, it is so good they are trying to restrict purchases. Either way, let me at it
